SINDA, Thermal Desktop®, RadCAD®, and TD Direct® Training

To register for this class, please complete this registration form. We will contact you via phone or email within two business days of receiving your registration. Course enrollment is limited. Late registration will be accepted if space is available. No on-site registration is available. Because space is limited, we recommend that complete your registration early. Early enrollment and payment will ensure your reservation in the class.

Payment Policy: Full payment (check, credit card, or purchase order) must be received no later than 31 days prior to the start of the class.

Cancellation Policy: 100% of registration fees will be refundable prior to 31 days before the class start date (the first day of the class sequence). No refunds will be made after this date and late registrations are non-refundable. In the event that the course is canceled by CRTech, a full refund of registration fees will be made. CRTech is not responsible for other costs incurred by participants.

Given heat loads and material properties, what is the temperature of a plate? That's how our tools work by default. But you can reverse the question too: What heat load is needed to heat the plate one hundred degrees in ten minutes? That "goal seeking" problem is one example of optimization. Another more complex example might be: What set of orifice sizes should I use at the exits of my heat exchangers to achieve even flows without any one component overheating? 

Optimization, combined with Thermal Desktop Measures (thermocouple models), can also be used to automate the adjustment of uncertainties to better match available test data or CFD predictions.

Some uncertainties just can't be adjusted away. Or maybe you don't yet have test data and need to understand how tolerances and environmental variations affect your design.
