CRTech has produced tools that extract fluid property data from ProSim’s Simulis Thermodynamics package for use in FloCAD as working fluids or as species of a mixture. A database of more than 2000 compounds is available, along with thermodynamic models for creating mixtures and two-phase descriptions. If you own a copy of Simulis, you may choose to create your own fluids using these instructions and examples. Otherwise, if you have a current support contract you may request FPROP DATA files from us.
