Online Training: Choking and High-speed FlowsWhen flow velocities get high enough, not only can choking (sonic limits) occur, but also kinetic energy can become important (Mach>0.3) and even heat transfer can be affected (Mach>0.1). This presentation-based class describes the basic phenomena and how they are handled in SINDA/FLUINT, with the focus on available user options as well as implied responsibilities. Prerequisites: Intermediate FLUINT experience. Class Duration: 45 minutes This class will be limited in size so please register early. You will receive an email notification of your registration with instructions on how to log into the meeting. To participate in this class you will be logging into a web site and will need make a long distance phone call for voice conferencing. To participate in the demo your machine's internet browser must be Java enabled.
