License Types

Fixed licenses are activated by use of a dongle key. There are keys available that fit into the parallel port or the USB port. This is a great way to license software if you want to pass it around different engineers, or to put on a laptop for portability.
Floating licenses are network license where a server acts as the license manager. This is a good way for multiple users to access the software via a network.
