C&R offers a template for use within Microsoft's Excel. This template uses the data set manager from the EZ-XY Plot Utility to allow the user to acces data from save files, heat rate files, form factors, radiation conductors in addition to delimited text files. This plotting template only works with SINDA/FLUINT save files from version 4.5 or newer.

Each chart is independent and can display different information. Unlike EZ-XY, each plot can only use a single data set however, each data set can reference multiple Sinda/Fluint save files for comparison plotting. Customization within the Excel plotting options will allow the user to compare multiple data sets.

Multiple data sets are used to combine data from different sources or to manipulate sets of data separately. For example, to match test data to analysis data, a text data set could be created which would read and plot data from the test. A second data set could be created from a Sinda/Fluint run and plotted on the same plot to enable comparisons
