EZ-XY is a PC based plotter that is packaged with Sinaps® and Thermal Desktop®. It can be used to plot save file data from SINDA/FLUINT in addition to heating rates and radKs from RadCAD®. Each plot window is independent and can display information from multiple data sources. Once the data sources are defined, the content of the plot is controlled through the Plot Manager interface. EZ-XY is a highly customizable plot interface giving the user full control of the plot appearance along with the content. It is capable of producing X-Y plots, Histograms, bar charts, and more. Plot Sets allow the management of multiple plots in a single file, allowing refreshing all plots and once and exporting to support reports.
Plot sets can be created to assist in associating several plots with a particular set of data sources. When using plot sets, all the plots in the set will automatically refresh when the filed is opened reflecting any updates to the underlying data sources . Plots sets can also be used to export individual plots to graphic files or the entire set of plots can be exported. Once a plot is created it may be manipulated using customization dialog. The user to modify the axes, add annotations, customize the legend, zoom, and create 3D plots. All customizations are saved with a plot. Upon reopening, the plot will automatically be updated to reflect any changes to the associated save files or RadCAD databases.
